Public Hearing To Discuss Marcellus Shale Drilling To Be Held in Phoenixville Tomorrow Morning

On Wednesday, October 20th, Rep. Paul Drucker will be co-chairing a public hearing to discuss environmental issues and opportunities related to Marcellus Shale gas drilling in Pennsylvania. The hearing will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Schuylkill Township Building Meeting Room, 111 Valley Park Road. Drucker will co-chair the hearing with committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster.

Those testifying will include Jan Jarrett, president and CEO of Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future; Peter Goodman, spokesperson for Trout Unlimited; and Lynda Farrell, spokesperson for The Save Group.
