Live Nativity this Sunday

For more than 20 years the Phoenixville Jaycees have organized a live nativity at Reeves Park featuring a reading of the nativity story from the reigning Dogwood Queen, carols sung by a local chorus and volunteer actors. This years Live Nativity will be Sunday, December 18th at 6pm in Reeves Park.

Holiday Programs at Grace Valley Fellowship

Grace Valley Fellowship, which meets at the National Christian Conference Center (1485 Valley Forge Road), will be offering two special holiday programs. The Promise: The Epic Story of an Ancient Hope featuring the Elegance String Quartet Join us at 10:30am on Sunday, December 18th as we celebrate Christmas with carols and a story of hope for every person. The Promise traces God’s first word of hope to humanity across the pages of history, unfolding the hope of Christmas found in a child lying in a manger. Ladies Night Out December 12th

On Monday, December 12th, several local businesses are coming together to sponsor Ladies Night Out: Bridge St. Chocolates, Charmed Spirits, Lush Consignment Boutique, Best Friends, Lulu's, Country Charm, LEO wedding decor, K&M trends, Jewelry by Megan and many more of your favorite local stores and vendors will be at Ladies Night Out! Ladies Night Out is hosted by the Columbia Bar and Grille on Monday, December 12th from 6:30 to 9p.m. With a $20 admission fee, you will receive a cocktail of your choice, an appetizer buffet, and a chance to shop at all the wonderful stores under one roof. Iron Works Church Hosting Neighborhood Cookie Decorating Party This Sunday

Join Iron Works Church for this year's Neighborhood Cookie Decorating Party! They’ll have everything you need to decorate yummy holiday cookies and meet some of your neighbors. Pepperoncini Offering Feast of the Seven Fishes and New Year's Eve Menus

The Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian Christmas tradition that Pepperoncini (184 Bridge Street, Phoenixville; 484-924-8429) celebrates every Christmas Eve. St Ann's Prep Hosting Toy Drive This Sunday

St. Ann 4th-6th grade PREP students and Second Chance Toys , an organization that rescues and recycles unwanted toys for needy children, have teamed up to celebrate the “season of giving” by collecting your clean, gently used plastic toys and donating them to organizations that serve children in need. SCA Hosting Annual Holiday Luminaria on December 10th

On Saturday, December 10, the Schuylkill Canal Association will be hosting their annual Holiday Luminaria. SCA invites you to the Holiday Luminaria, Saturday, December 10, 2011 Celebrate the holidays with the Schuylkill Canal Association as we invite you to join us for the Holiday Luminaria, on Saturday, December 10th, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This magnificent holiday light show will be held along the Schuylkill Canal up to Lock 60 and the Locktender’s House in Mont Clare, PA, just across the river from Phoenixville. See one of the most beautiful sights of the season as you observe the hundreds of luminary candles reflecting on the canal waterway. Towpath Road is lined with candles from the Mont Clare Bridge / Rt. 29, all the way to Lock 60 and surrounding the Locktender’s House.
