Shop Downtown This Saturday!

Not that you should need a reason to patronize shops in town, but, if you do, this Saturday is a great reason to. American Express has started something they call Small Business Saturday in an effort to promote the small businesses that make towns like ours so great. As an incentive to get out and shop, American Express card holders will receive a $25 statement credit when you spend $25 or more at a participating small businesses.

The Phoenixville Area Business Association is getting in on the act as well by providing free parking all day in ALL lots. Streets will still have the 2 hour limit enforced.

Kudos to Paba for the great Christmas flags on each street light pole

Sadly the BS parking tax likely chased off a lot of potential customers. I for one haven't step foot down there in months. Too many other options with FREE parking.

What effect metered parking has had on other shopping days is another issue.
