Phoenixville Area Time Bank and the Forge Theater Presenting special benefit performance of The Smell of the Kill

The Forge Theater, at 241 First Avenue , Phoenixville, presents a special benefit performance of The Smell of the Kill for the Phoenixville Area Time Bank (PATB) on Sunday, April 19th, at 2 pm. The play is a wickedly delightful, fast-paced anti-love story, that, according to Variety, “boasts lin es and scenes that have the audience laughing as uproariously as The Producers.

The $20 admission fee provides an opportunity to share the fun and thrill of live local theater while supporting the Time Bank, a local non-profit organization that is helping to grow community through the exchange of services between members. During intermission the audience will be able to enjoy mostly-homemade snacks and desserts.

Tickets for this performance can either be purchased at the door or, in advance, at branches of New Century Bank or at the PATB website pa-timebank.com. Call 610-608-9281 or e-mail at timedollar@verizon.net for more information.

"The things that sold in Paoli didn't sell in Phoenixville," she said, adding that some customers thought that the store was too expensive or the sizing did not go high enough (size 12 being the highest size sold). "We tried everything." Randels also said that parking was an issue for many of her customers who could either not find spaces or did not feel safe parking behind the store. --- Polka Dots remains open until the 16th, with hours on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is 610-935-5914.
