FREE Support Program for those Currently Unemployed

Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce, with Providence Management and Communications, offer FREE Support for those Unemployment at the National Christian Conference Center.

Phoenixville, PA. On Thursday March 26th from 9 AM-11AM the Phoenixville Chamber will be holding a support program for those who find themselves currently unemployed. The program will be held at the National Christian Conference Center, 1485 Valley Forge Road, Valley Forge, PA 19148. The program is being sponsored by the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce with facilitation support being provided by Providence Management and Communications, a local area training and consulting firm. The National Christian Conference Center has offered its facilities free of charge for this event.

The program will address job search and marketing techniques, networking, resume support, making the most of on-line applications and, most importantly, stress management during what is now very tough financial times. The program is designed to be an ongoing support system with timing and locations to be posted at the Phoenixville Chamber website.

101 Bridge to Open Tomorrow

Received a phone call from my sister (who happens to be moving into Phoenixville on Saturday) who said there is a sign in front of the new 101 Bridge Restaurant saying that it will be opening tomorrow(6/25). It appears they are having a private opening tonight. If anyone here attended tonight or plans to attend over the next couple of days, please write in with your thoughts on Phoenixville's newest restaurant.
