Marly's Now Open For Lunch, Grand Opening This Weekend

Beginning today, Marly's will be open for lunch during the week. There lunch hours Monday-Friday are 11:30-2:30. Stay tuned for a lunch menu which they assure me will finalized soon!

Marly's will also be holding their official Grand Opening on Saturday. The response on here so far has been overwhelmingly positive so be sure to check it out if you get the chance.

Almost at the corner of Bridge and Starr Rd (across the street from Bridge 101).

Also, That Italian Place is now open. I walked by it last night. It smelled good!

We ate dinner at Marley's the other night. Food was AWESOME! So was the service with Holly and Samantha, one of the proud owners! While we were there we got a sneak peak at the lunch menu. The roast pork sandwich sounded so good. The prices looked VERY reasonable, too! I can't wait to get over there for lunch and try it out!

I'm more excited about That Italian Place. With all the bars on that street, a good pizza place nearby is key. XPress just doesn't slice it ... pun intended.

I am excited to check out Marly's, sounds like it's been getting nothing but good reviews. Onto "That Italian Place". It is GREAT! My husband and I stopped in Saturday and just picked up some stuffed pepper shooters (which were delicious) and then we went back yesterday and got their Nonna's old world gravy, the ravoli stuffed with brocoli rabe and mozzarella and meatballs...I am Italian and have had gravy many of Sundays and can say this was just as good as my grandmother's!!! I can't wait to try their brick oven pizza. I agree we needed an Italian place in Pvile.

Ate at Marley's on friday for dinner and it was great. We sat out back on the patio and it was an awesome experience. our waitress was great, the food was great (i had the gnocci, i know some others had the mushroom ravioli and the crabcakes - all got good reviews)! will def go back.

Also ate at Marly's this weekend, on the front porch Friday evening for dinner. Food was very good, very flavorful. Portions are a little small--not terribly small, but on the smaller side.

Recommend getting a starter/appetizer-they were very good; we got a cesear salad and the bruschetta. Nice to have another BYOB in Phoenixville.

Back patio looks great too.

Finally got a chance to go to Marly's last night and my wife and thought it was great. We got a chance to meet co-owners Michael and Samantha who are both very enthusiastic about being in town and seem to be having a good time with their new venture.

Definitely worth checking out.

Over the next couple of months, three local businesses will be closing their doors. On Saturday, February 16th, Polka Dots will be closing their store at 246 Bridge Street. Barry Cassidy Addresses Downtown Rumors

Today's Phoenix ran an article written by Barry Cassidy in which he addressed the various rumors that have been circulating regarding the immediate futures of several local businesses. He paints a much rosier picture than some of the comments here would have you believe. From the article: --- On Monday someone came in and told me Molly Maguire's was closing. I knew that was not correct because they are expanding, not closing. Then about 20 minutes after than I heard from someone else that 101 was closing and the building was going to become a McDonalds.
