Phoenixville Pumpkin Fest To Be Held October 29th


UPDATE: The Pumpkin Fest has been moved to Sunday, October 30th.

The first ever Phoenixville Pumpkin Fest will be coming to Reeves Park on Saturday, October 29th Sunday, October 30th. The event, which will be from 2-7pm, is being hosted by Iron Works Church and promises fun for the whole family. The festival will feature:
  • Pumpkin Painting (great for children!)
  • A LARGE Pumpkin Moon Bounce
  • A Pumpkin Carving Demonstration Table
  • Free pumpkin carving kits (while supplies last)
  • Face painting
  • Games, prizes, and a free raffle

The highlights of the event will be a timed Pumpkin Carving Contest and the Pumpkin Derby. Prizes will be awarded for both contests, all of which have been supplied by local businesses who will also be doing the judging for the pumpkin carving contest.

101 Bridge to Open Tomorrow

Received a phone call from my sister (who happens to be moving into Phoenixville on Saturday) who said there is a sign in front of the new 101 Bridge Restaurant saying that it will be opening tomorrow(6/25). It appears they are having a private opening tonight. If anyone here attended tonight or plans to attend over the next couple of days, please write in with your thoughts on Phoenixville's newest restaurant.
