Last weekend of Phoenixville Ghost Tours

Downtown Phoenixville offers one last chance to get ghostly this season!

This Friday and Saturday nights are the last two outings for Ghost Tours of Phoenixville. Reservations can be made at (215) 237-1166.

Great for a girls’ night fright, a different kind of date, or a family outing, the 90-minute walking tour covers the most haunted borough in Pennsylvania. You’ll experience the history – and mystery – of Phoenixville’s local ghosts.

Meet-up is at the Pickering Creek Inn, 37 Bridge Street. Tours leave at 8pm. Adults are $11; children $7. Website is ghosttoursofphoenixville.com.

The You Are Worth It Foundation is a grassroots homeless and in-need outreach group from Phoenixville, PA. Around Phoenixville recently asked Chris Brickhouse for some more information about the Foundation and how you can help: Tell us a little about You Are Worth It and how it got started: We are a homeless outreach organizations serving Phoenixville, Pottstown, Norristown, Center City and Kensington in Philly and constantly expanding. We were formed in early 2018 by Dina Rowan and I came on board last June. We have roughly 15 volunteers so far and would like to expand that to expand our reach. We take donated items directly to the people. We provide them with a hot meal and new or lightly used clothing and self-care products. 101 Bridge to Open Tomorrow

Received a phone call from my sister (who happens to be moving into Phoenixville on Saturday) who said there is a sign in front of the new 101 Bridge Restaurant saying that it will be opening tomorrow(6/25). It appears they are having a private opening tonight. If anyone here attended tonight or plans to attend over the next couple of days, please write in with your thoughts on Phoenixville's newest restaurant.
