East Pikeland Elementary Holiday Shoppe Being Held Tomorrow

This Saturday, December 7th, stop out to East Pikeland Elemntary from 10am-2pm for their annual Holiday Shoppe. They will have vendor tables including Party Lite Candles, Thirty-One Gifts, Pampered Chef, Adorn Jewelry, Tupperware, Ernie’s Bird Houses and much more! Kids can also get in on the act at their Kids Holiday Gift Shop which provides an opportunity for children to buy holiday gifts for family and friends at a very affordable price! In addition, there will be a Basket Raffle and a Food & Bake Sale!

East Pikeland Elementary is located at 1191 Hares Hill Road.

The You Are Worth It Foundation is a grassroots homeless and in-need outreach group from Phoenixville, PA. Around Phoenixville recently asked Chris Brickhouse for some more information about the Foundation and how you can help: Tell us a little about You Are Worth It and how it got started: We are a homeless outreach organizations serving Phoenixville, Pottstown, Norristown, Center City and Kensington in Philly and constantly expanding. We were formed in early 2018 by Dina Rowan and I came on board last June. We have roughly 15 volunteers so far and would like to expand that to expand our reach. We take donated items directly to the people. We provide them with a hot meal and new or lightly used clothing and self-care products. Barry Cassidy Addresses Downtown Rumors

Today's Phoenix ran an article written by Barry Cassidy in which he addressed the various rumors that have been circulating regarding the immediate futures of several local businesses. He paints a much rosier picture than some of the comments here would have you believe. From the article: --- On Monday someone came in and told me Molly Maguire's was closing.
