Phoenixville Fitness Professional Accepts Mentorship with the owners of a Top 10 Gym in America!

Do you have anywhere between 5, 10, 25 or more pounds of fat to lose, but can't seem to find an easy way to do it? Did you notice that it says fat, not weight! Well the answer is here! Jen Brango, owner of Only Results Fitness and Great Valley Adventure Boot Camp, have been studying alongside some of the best minds in fitness to help each client achieve the fat loss results they desire. According to Jen Brango, “Anyone can lose weight through fad diets or supposed miracle pills, however, these methods do not change your body inside and out. The key to improving your health is changing your body composition which can only be achieved by changing your lifestyle with a customized approach for each individual. One size fits all programs do not work to achieve permanent results.”

The programs at Only Results were designed to allow you to keep your muscle mass and only lose fat. Are your workouts and diet not leading to a leaner, stronger body? In an effort to bring cutting edge physical fitness and fat loss programs to the Delaware Valley, Only Results Fitness applied for and were accepted into a yearlong mentorship with Rachel and Alwyn Cosgrove, owners of Results Fitness in Santa Clarita, CA. You see, Rachel and Alwyn are two of the most in-demand and exciting coaches, writers and speakers in the fitness industry today and their facility is consistently ranked as One of the Top 10 Gyms in America. If you read Men’s Health, Women’s Health or countless other publications chances are you have read articles written by them and you may have even done one of their workouts at the gym.

According to Jen, “Being accepted into this mentorship allows us to work side-by-side with fellow top fitness professionals throughout the world to change the way fitness is done. We are so excited about the future of our profession and all the great new research which will allow us to bring the most effective fat loss solutions to our clients.” These are exciting times at Only Results Fitness as the team brings these proven methods to the Delaware Valley.

At the end of March some great things are happening at Only Results Fitness. First, Jen will be traveling to the Cosgrove’s facility, Results Fitness, to spend 3 days being personally mentored by Rachel and Alwyn. Jen says,” this will be life changing for our clients as well as mine.” Second, Only Results Fitness is kicking off their $3,000 Team Summer Body Challenge with an informational meeting on March 29th at 7:00 PM at the Only Results Fitness Gym located in The Franklin Commons in Phoenixville, PA. All the details and pre-registration for the challenge can be found on the company’s website at http://www.OnlyResultsFitness.com. Gather some friends and win your share of the $3,000 while changing your body.

Public meeting to discuss future of Melchiorre Park scheduled for Nov. 29th

On Thursday, November 29th, the Borough is holding a 'brainstorming session' in which plans for Melchiorre Park will be discussed with its park planning consultants. The event will be held at the High School and will begin 7pm. For those of you who do not know about Melchiorre Park (of which I am included, even though I apparently live across the street from it), it is a 23 acre park located south of High Street on the land between it and French Creek. It appears, based on the drawing on the Borough home page , to be the land that is next to Westridge Village and across the street from the new Northridge Village community. As part of the meeting, the consultants will 'provide a brief background of the project and present a pre-final master plan for the park'. Source: Phoenixville Borough Website

Local Baker Wins on Netflix Sugar Rush

Peri Anderson, owner of Brooklyn Girl Bakery , was part of a team that won the most recent episode of Sugar Rush on Netflix. I reached out to Peri to learn a little more about her bakery: I started out taking a recreational cake decorating class with my mom when I was still living in NY. I loved it and moved to PA to be with my boyfriend (now husband), where I began interning for a bakery in Chestnut Hill. Over the course of 7 years I worked my way up from intern to pastry chef until I decided to leave in 2012. I do all of my baking in our home kitchen which is licensed and insured by the Dept. of Agriculture. Initially, I wanted to focus on wedding cakes so I immediately started contacting wedding venues in the area to see if they would include me a wedding cake vendor in their packages. I currently work with over 10 venues and several caterers in the area. While wedding cakes are my main focus, I also make cakes and cookie favors for all occasions. While I don’t have a retail loca
