Hipster Home Needs Your Help

From the Hipster Home email list:
Hipster Home will be featured on the TV Show FYI Philadelphia (ABC 6) and we need customers in the store to help with the shoot. This is your big shot to get discovered........... well, OK, but at the very least you can be on a TV show and help a local business. Tomorrow only (Tuesday 2/23/10) (UPDATE: Shoot will be held on Thursday 2/25/10) at around 12 noon we will be offering a 30% discount on any non-sale items (excludes Gus and Geneva). Not a bad deal huh? We think it's pretty awesome. So if you've been thinking about stopping into Hipster, for any reason, then this is a great opportunity to save some big bucks. Don't miss out!

Good for them. Hipster Home runs a nice business and the owners are always willing to go the extra mile to help you find what you are looking for.

The FYI TV shoot went off without a hitch. There were plenty of people there to shop (thank you to everyone that helped out). The show airs Saturday March 6th at 7pm on Channel 6 (ABC) and re-airs on Sunday. Thanks again.

Local Business Spotlight: G Lodge Restaurant

The G Lodge Restaurant is our most recent Local Business Spotlight. Located just a couple of miles from downtown to Phoenixville, the G Lodge has been a go to spot for breakfast and lunch for over 34 years. It was even featured in M.Night Shyamalan's 'The Happening'. The following is from

If you’ve just visited Valley Forge National Park you may still be in the Colonial-era headspace, so why not continue in that vein by breakfast/lunching at the G Lodge? The inside of this unassuming roadside eatery (attached to an auto repair shop) echoes the log cabin structures of adjacent national park...just not as drafty.

Daily specials are listed above the counter, and there’s a lot on the menu as well. My eyes to always be bigger than my stomach here, though I’ve never sprung for the G-Buster special. Unlike many diner fans I am not a fan of breakfast homefries so I love that they have potato patties (deep fried!) as an option.
