Gay Street Bridge Tentatively Scheduled To Reopen October 16th

Councilman Senley posted on his blog on Monday that the Gay Street Bridge is tentatively scheduled to reopen at 11am on Friday, October 16th, some six months ahead of schedule.

This is fantastic! And earlier than anticipated (March 2010).

Does anyone know the cost of the bridge? Just curious to know what the pricetag is for such a great piece of work. I was afraid it might just be a blah bridge, but it's pretty nice!
