Over the next couple of months, three local businesses will be closing their doors. On Saturday, February 16th, Polka Dots will be closing their store at 246 Bridge Street. The shop, a women's clothing boutique, opened nearly two and a half years ago but has recently found business slow. --- Originally, (owner Susan) Randels said that the store was doing well, but that the momentum could not keep up. "The things that sold in Paoli didn't sell in Phoenixville," she said, adding that some customers thought that the store was too expensive or the sizing did not go high enough (size 12 being the highest size sold). "We tried everything." Yesh, don't we have any foodies in this town? What kind of food, what price and would you eat there again?
Details, please! :-)
I haven't been to the club, other than to check out the asthetics on the night they opened. They have totally changed it from a banquet room to a real night club with a great sound system and lighting. They are saying they aren't planning on having a cover charge unless they get big name bands in. I think this time it is here to stay.:)
The bistro is very nice. I agree that the food is well priced and product is very good. I hope they are around for a while to come!
as for Club 212, it seems to be the place for all the bad element of Phoenixville. If you like to fight, this is the place to go. The drinks are highly overpriced, the bartenders are extremely slow and very ignorant. The Dj plays the same songs 2-3 times a night, and the security was extremely rude.
MORE SECURITY PERHAPS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
