The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), in conjunction with PennDOT, SEPTA, and Montgomery, Chester, and Berks counties, is hosting two open houses to present findings of the US 422 Corridor Master Plan.
This is an opportunity for the public to comment on preliminary recommendations, including smart growth initiatives and land use strategies; highway and transit improvements, including the R6 Extension; and an implementation plan. "Stations" with maps and renderings will be on display, and staff will be available to answer questions. For more information about the Master Plan visit www.422corridor.com.

Two open houses with identical agendas will be held between 6:30 and 9:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations. An hour-long presentation and Q&A will start at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The public is invited to attend at anytime during the designated meeting hours.

US 422 is one of the fastest growing suburban expressway corridors in the Philadelphia region, and an integral part of the interregional highway network. The Master Plan is intended to serve as a comprehensive approach to planning for sustainable transportation and land use conditions within the 25-mile-long corridor. Traditional transportation projects, community and land use planning practices, intermodal facilities/park-and-ride lots, and land preservation activities comprise the strategic improvement program.
