Jaycees Organizing Second Date Auction

Following the success of their last date auction in February, the Phoenixville Jaycees are in the process of organizing another one that will be held at Tyler James’ Pub on Oct. 18 and will be recruiting participants during First Friday festivities this weekend.

Just like last time, some of the money raised will go to a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. and while there is no cover charge, donations will be accepted. There will also be live entertainment.

If you are interested in participating, please send an e-mail to jayceesdateauction@yahoo.com.

Interesting how this event has moved from the Moon Saloon to Tyler James. Spreading the wealth? Or noticing that the Moon Saloon has no energy and excitement anymore on that boring corner of the "nice" part of town.
