Flower Power Music Festival Scheduled for October 26th

The New Century Bank Flower Power Music Festival will occur at The Colonial Theatre in downtown Phoenixville on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 8:00 PM. This festival will feature folk jam bands Hoots & Hellmouth, Old School Freight Train, Tin Bird Choir and master fiddler Matt Brown will be performing.

This event is a fundraiser for the Phoenixville Area Business Association's (PABA) Street Beautifcation Fund (providing flowers and seasonal decor on the streets of downtown Phoenixville). Tickets range between $15-$25-depending on seating choice. Tickets are available at Steel City Coffee House and online at www.steelcitycoffeehouse.com.

In conjunction with the Music Festival is a scooter raffle. PABA will be raffling off a brand new 2008 Roketa Carpi 150 cc scooter, red in color ($1259.00 value). The scooter will be raffled off during the concert. 2nd place is a "Dining in Phoenixville" basket containing gift certificates for area restaurants. 3rd place is a "Shopping in Phoenixville" basket containing gift certificates to various retailers. Scooter raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.00 and can be obtained at many PABA member businesses, like . . . Steel City Coffee House, Diving Cat Studios, Artisan's Gallery and Cafe, Earth Mart, Hipster Home, Wolfgang Books, Creep Industries, Franco Ristorante, Ellie's Choice, Fashionista's, Spiedies Bistro, Phoenixville Federal Bank and Jaworski's Music.

Looks like fun! Hoots and Helmouth are a great philly local band for anyone who hasn't seen them!
