Reader Bernadette K. wrote in to tell me about Camphill Cafe which is a part of Camphill Village Kimberton Hills. Writes Bernadette:
---
At Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, we have a Café that is open from Tuesdays – Saturdays from 11 am – 2 pm . The café features homemade soups, sandwiches, entrees and delicious desserts made with organic and biodynamic and locally grown ingredients. Most produce is grown in the village garden and breads and cookies are made in the village bakery.
Join us for lunch! Outdoor seating is available on the terrace. 610-935-3599.

Come to our oasis at the top of the hill for a warm welcome and a delicious lunch, featuring soups, sandwiches, entrees (usually vegetarian) and delicious desserts. All the food is homemade using organic and biodynamic ingredients. We support local businesses and growers such as Kimberton Coffee Roasters, Sweetwater Bakery and Sankanac CSA. Our recent café renovations include sustainable building practices and geothermal heating and cooling.
The café is run by an able crew of Kimberton Hills residents and managed by Erin Graver, who has many years of experience in creative whole foods cooking.
We welcome groups and encourage you to call ahead to reserve space or ask about the day’s menu. Catering services are also available.
You can reach Erin at the café at 610-935-3599.

Oh please, all you Waldorf school people are a bunch hippie nut jobs. Why do you believe in Gnomes? Do you also believe in the Easter Bunny?
Please come and check it out. While there, check out the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm on the Campus. The Fruits and Vegetables, (organically grown) are AMAZING!
What Acres of Diamonds we all have in our backyard.
