TOSDV presents "The Mask of Zorro" with live theatre organ accompaniment

On Sunday, September 22nd, come out to the Colonial Theatre as the Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley is presents “The Mask of Zorro” starring Douglas Fairbanks. This 1920 silent feature film introduced movie audiences to the swashbuckling romantic hero and was the first in a series of “Zorro” adventure films. Providing the live theatre organ accompaniment on the TOSDV Wurlitzer built in 1922 will be Christian Elliott of Santa Clara, CA, the 2009 ATOS “Organist of the Year” and the premier specialist in creating accurate re-creations of authentic silent film accompaniment.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and can be purchased at the Colonial Theatre website. For more information, please visit tosdv.org.

101 Bridge to Open Tomorrow

Received a phone call from my sister (who happens to be moving into Phoenixville on Saturday) who said there is a sign in front of the new 101 Bridge Restaurant saying that it will be opening tomorrow(6/25). It appears they are having a private opening tonight. If anyone here attended tonight or plans to attend over the next couple of days, please write in with your thoughts on Phoenixville's newest restaurant.
