Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area Hosting Two Events

The Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area will be hosting two events over the next two months:
Slide show and lecture by Ron Sloto, author of the book "The Mines and Minerals of Chester County, Pennsylvania" presents mining in our local area.
June 16th: 7:00 PM at Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust Conference Center, 564 Nutt Rd.

Event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served.


Walking Tour - The Churches of North Phoenixville
July 29th: Tours start at 5:30pm, last tour is at 7:00pm. Tour starts at Holy Trinity Church, 219 Dayton Street

Stroll through three of the spectacular churches on the north side of town. . The tour is free but you must have reservations. Call 1-877-442-2476 for reservations.

We were formed in early 2018 by Dina Rowan and I came on board last June. We have roughly 15 volunteers so far and would like to expand that to expand our reach. We take donated items directly to the people. We provide them with a hot meal and new or lightly used clothing and self-care products.
