Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area Hosting Two Events

The Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area will be hosting two events over the next two months:
Slide show and lecture by Ron Sloto, author of the book "The Mines and Minerals of Chester County, Pennsylvania" presents mining in our local area.
June 16th: 7:00 PM at Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust Conference Center, 564 Nutt Rd.

Event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served.


Walking Tour - The Churches of North Phoenixville
July 29th: Tours start at 5:30pm, last tour is at 7:00pm. Tour starts at Holy Trinity Church, 219 Dayton Street

Stroll through three of the spectacular churches on the north side of town. . The tour is free but you must have reservations. Call 1-877-442-2476 for reservations.

101 Bridge to Open Tomorrow

Received a phone call from my sister (who happens to be moving into Phoenixville on Saturday) who said there is a sign in front of the new 101 Bridge Restaurant saying that it will be opening tomorrow(6/25). It appears they are having a private opening tonight. If anyone here attended tonight or plans to attend over the next couple of days, please write in with your thoughts on Phoenixville's newest restaurant.
