Pfizer To Keep Wyeth's Collegeville Plant Open

KYW 1060 indicates that despite the merger, Pfizer plans to keep the former Wyeth plant in Collegeville open, saving thousands of jobs in the process.
As the merger was completed on Wednesday, some layoffs were still possible due to consolidation -- but not the 4,000 that would have come if Pfizer had decided to close the Upper Providence plant and relocate operations elsewhere
