First sign appears in stores next to Acme

According to a banner that is currently hanging in front of one the now-empty stores that adjoins Acme, Phoenixville will have a new dry cleaners (contain your excitement please) starting September 1st. The sign indicates a Grand Opening sale of 30% off once they open their doors.

No official word yet on what else will be going in there although there is speculation that a pizza restaurant and a hair/nails parlor are planned.

There are already 2 bookstores on Bridge Street.

There is a Walmart 15 minutes away. I would never want one in our little town. I am in favor of a Wawa and Trader Joesin P-ville.

I agree with the previous comment. In addition to a Wawa and Trader Joe's, I would also like to see an upscale Asian restaraunt such as Margaret Kuo's.

The Walmart in Jeffersonville is turning into a Walmart Supercenter and the old Home Depot in King of Prussia is going to become a Walmart.

please don't bring wal-mart into a phoenixville! plus there is already a wawa out towards kimberton on 113.

on the other hand, trader joe's would be perfect for phxville.

That Wawa on 113 is not very convenient. I, personaly, rarely take that way, so it would be nice to have one closer to downtown P-ville.

I know they are popping up EVERYWHERE and can be a crazy sight, but they are just so convenient.
