Did the writer of this article actually look at the web site before claiming an update?

There is no new information that you claim in this article...the calendar and entertainment list is still from 2006

Try clicking the refresh button in your browser and if that doesn't work hold down the CTRL button and click refresh. The Jaycee site has definitely been updated, I assume you are seeing an old version of their site.

Thanks...I had repeatedly refreshed my page without success, but it took the CTRL/refresh combination to get to the updated page.

This year's lineup has been very late in being announced (and there are still several 'TBA's on the schedule....including today). I wonder what has caused these apparent difficulties with getting a lineup together this time around?

not to worry, if you click on any of the Dogwood links at the top of the page you are still taken to the '06 information.

Good news - the Jaycees changed family wristband night to Thursday to give people a chance to enjoy the festival after Wednesday's rains! $17 gets you unlimited rides.

Over the next couple of months, three local businesses will be closing their doors. On Saturday, February 16th, Polka Dots will be closing their store at 246 Bridge Street. The shop, a women's clothing boutique, opened nearly two and a half years ago but has recently found business slow. --- Originally, (owner Susan) Randels said that the store was doing well, but that the momentum could not keep up. "The things that sold in Paoli didn't sell in Phoenixville," she said, adding that some customers thought that the store was too expensive or the sizing did not go high enough (size 12 being the highest size sold). "We tried everything." Randels also said that parking was an issue for many of her customers who could either not find spaces or did not feel safe parking behind the store. --- Polka Dots remains open until the 16th, with hours on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is 610-935-5914.
