Celebrate George Washington's Birthday This Sunday

On Sunday, February 23rd, the Historical Society of Montgomery County will be celebrating the birthday of George Washington. The event, which begins at 2:30, will feature a tribute by Rudy Cusumano, retired American history teacher and author, and will include light refreshments and a birthday cake to honor our first President.

About Rudy Cusumano:
Mr. Cusumano is a retired English, history, andmath teacher whose passion has always beenAmerican History. After his retirement from the MethactonSchool District in 1991, he began to pursue his love of our Nation’s history. He is the author of thirteen papers about General Lafayette and America’s Founding Fathers. He lectures here and abroad on American Colonial history. Hisbook, The Mock Court Martial of British General Sir WilliamHowe, has recently been published.
