Registration Now Open for Phoenixville Area Soccer Club's Spring Session

Phoenixville Area Soccer Club has opened registrations for their Spring season. From their flyer:

PASC offers Recreational and Travel soccer for boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 19 with programs designed to meet US Youth Soccer recommendations.

Pee Wee (ages 4-6) - March 22 - May 17*
Our in-house Pee Wee program features an eight-week curriculum designed to teach youngsters the basics of the great game of soccer. The Pee Wee program features small-sided activities and games hosted at our club fields on Saturday mornings.

U8 Intramural Soccer Program (ages 6-7) - March 22 - May 17*
Our U8 program (U8 means "under 8 years old") runs for eight weeks and features games of 4v4 (four players per side) soccer on Saturdays with practice once a week.

U10 Intramural Soccer Program (ages 8-9) – March 22 - May 17*
U10 Intramural soccer runs for eight weeks and features 6v6 games, introducing a goalie and modified soccer rules with games on Saturdays and practice once a week.

Recreational Soccer (ages 10-19) – dates TBD
Our Recreational soccer teams participate in the Suburban Co-ed Soccer League which includes a 6-week spring schedule with three home games and three away games, with teams traveling to local competitors in Chester and Montgomery counties.

Travel Soccer (ages 8-14) – dates TBD
Travel Soccer includes the highest level of competition and training for our young athletes. Contact us at info@phoenixvillesoccer.org for more info. Boys' and Girls' teams participate in local travel soccer leagues (Delco, PAGS, and Central League) in the fall, with some age groups fielding teams in the spring. Details on tryouts will be announced in March.

* No games held Saturday, April 19th due to Spring Break.

Around Phoenixville recently asked Chris Brickhouse for some more information about the Foundation and how you can help: Tell us a little about You Are Worth It and how it got started: We are a homeless outreach organizations serving Phoenixville, Pottstown, Norristown, Center City and Kensington in Philly and constantly expanding. We were formed in early 2018 by Dina Rowan and I came on board last June. We have roughly 15 volunteers so far and would like to expand that to expand our reach. We take donated items directly to the people. We provide them with a hot meal and new or lightly used clothing and self-care products. We have long term goals of a mobile shower center, vocational training and assisting with housing in any way possible. What kind of items do you need? We take a wide array of items - individually packaged food, canned goods, ramen, protein bars, water, s
