Gingerbread House Contest & Silent Auction

Photo by Barry Taglieber, The Phoenix
For some old fashioned holiday fun, stop by Artisans Gallery & Cafe (236 Bridge Street in Phoenixville) to see the gingerbread houses created for the 2008 Gingerbread House Contest & Auction. All the entries are creative and fun. The replica of Phoenixville's Foundry building is spectacular (created by Chef Chad Durkin, Desserts International, who does desserts for Artisans Cafe). From 12/6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, 12/12, a silent auction of gingerbread houses will be held. Proceeds will benefit PACS and their "Holidays from Hunger" campaign.

For more information, see Tuesday's article in the Phoenix.
