Help a local help others

Fellow Phoenixville resident Christine McKaig will be participating in the St. Anthony's Triathalon to help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training (TNT) program. From her email: Hi All - I hope everyone is having a great new year! I have made the commitment to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training (TNT) program, to help ensure that strides are taken to defeat cancer. I am raising money for LLS and in turn training for my first official Triathlon, and an Olympic distance one at that (0.9 mi swim, 25 mi bike, 6.2 mi run). I have committed to raising $4,600 before my triathlon on April 25th – I want to exceed my goal to allow for more money to directly serve our local patients. All of us in TNT are training and fundraising to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I have joined the fight against blood cancers, and want more than anything to find cures for all cancers!
